These illustrations are for a text about how traveling with children by car has changed over the years - from very little to do on the back seat, often resulting in stress for the whole family, to our modern times with many distractions and a lot more comfort.

 The title says "Moooommy, Shaun the sheep one more time!" I only had the general topic before doing the images, not the actual text, so I´m really happy the illustration works so well with the title!

 At first I was going to replace the rushed scribbles outside the windows with more detailed elements, but in the end decided to keep it to fit the childlike atmosphere.

I designed the spot illustrations to be embedded into the text, but the layouter decided to keep the two together, which I think works better in the "then and now" context of the text.

I put a little bit of myself in these spot pieces - I still love to listen to audiobooks, and I still love to play handheld videogames.
